Hi everyone! I haven't been around much in the last few months, but I hope to change that soon, with a new WIP I'll be uploading. In the meantime, though, my paranormal romance, LIGHTSTORM, which was on here up until a few weeks ago, has just finaled in the Georgia Romance Writers' Maggie Award for Excellence contest. I'm over the moon, mostly because I've never finaled in any contest, and I've entered quite a few. Hopefully, I'll have more news in October. *grin*
I also wanted to say thank you, because y'all helped me hone it with some fantastic feedback. You guys are awesome!

Well done and congratulations, Noelle! Very nice of you to acknowledge the many large-hearted, constructive critiquers here on BC who helped contribute to your success.
It may be corny, but as Stan Lee likes to exlaim, "Excelsior!" ("Onward and upward!")
PS. I'll bet you've discovered entirely new reserves of energy for writing, eh? Nothing like a little validation to re-kindle and re-affirm your right to your own special place in the literary firmament.

Absolutely found new energy for writing, but until kids are back in school, time is an issue. *grin* That all changes tomorrow.

Here's an update:
LIGHTSTORM took 2nd place in the Unpublished Paranormal Category, and is now with two agents.
[pause for totally unprofessional squeeing]
Thanks again, BC Community!
