I read a lot of genres--all subgenres of romance, thrillers, paranormal/urban fantasy, young adult, middle grade, and because I have kids, I read quite a few picture books, too. I can't imagine my life without books, whether they're in paper form or eBook. When I just can't wait, I buy books for my Kindle. I love the ease in which I can read while on the elliptical at the gym (the shelf for reading material is minuscule, but deep enough for my eReader). There are a few authors, though, whose books I *must* have in paper form.
Writing short stories allows me to branch into different areas, but my longer works are all in the romance/erotica area. My historical romance stories are inspired by constellations--single titles are based on the zodiac constellations, while novellas are based on the others, like Cassiopeia and Andromeda. Mythology also plays a huge role in my stories--Greek mythology (historicals), Christian myth (urban fantasy), and Pagan myth (paranormal romance).
