Hi, I recently joined Book Country, after hearing Lucy Silag present at a crime fiction conference in Long Beach. I love being involved in a community of writers; I'm still figuring out the dynamics of this site. These discussion boards seem a good way to brainstorm. I've reviewed two authors on Book Country, and plan to put my first book up for review tomorrow. Well Defended is a murder mystery set in an urban fantasy world. A lawyer turns into a witch during her first murder case. Like many of you, I've lived with my first novel in many versions for a long time, so I enjoy browsing around on this site and reading about all your many creative story ideas. I find it refreshing to get outside myself. It's amazing what worlds we writers create!
