Short Bio:

I live with my husband Duane and seven dogs in Phoenix, Arizona. After working as an attorney for twenty-five years at the Maricopa County Public Defender’s, I retired to begin a second career as a writer. I have completed an urban fantasy murder mystery. Well Defended portrays a lawyer who turns into a witch during her first murder case. I've had six short stories published—two in Arizona Attorney and four in Desert Sleuths (the Phoenix chapter of Sisters in Crime) anthologies.

About Margaret Morse's Reading & Writing

Around the age of twelve, I became a crime fiction fan, starting with Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes and moving on to the Golden Age of Mysteries, my favorites being Rex Stout, Ellery Queen, and Agatha Christie. Nowadays, I read many types of crime fiction: historical, cozy, police procedural, comic, traditional, and paranormal. I also like a dash of science fiction and steam punk.
