Ok, it's really early and I can't call my family yet to jump up and down screaming so I'll tell you guys. I got hired as a consultant a couple weeks ago and wrote a few scenes for a movie. I just got word this morning that they will be using one of the scenes. Thanks to a NDA I can't say what movie yet, but as soon as I can I'll give you all the details.
Aside from a few genetics articles, this is my first paid writing gig.
