It's almost Christmas day in Michigan--technically, it's 9:00 P.M. right now, but I wanted to start this thread before I went to bed, so Santa will come *wink wink* 
Anyway, Merry Christmas, all my Book Country friends! I pray that your Christmas wishes come true, your day goes smoothly, and Inspiration visits and treats you kindly!

Christmas Tree
Tinsel glitters brightly near fairy lights
Of red, yellow, blue and green
This is the time we remember a birth
Of a holy one two thousand years ago
Glass baubles shine brilliantly
Upon the Christmas tree
He came to teach us peace on Earth
Even on the darkest of days
So when around the Christmas tree
Gathers your friends and family
May the peace and joy of Christmas
Come and fill your heart
