With blogging and social media, consistency is key. Think of it like making an appointment with your audience. Be there at certain times, and your audience will know that engaging with you is going to be a fruitful conversation.
I think it's the same with Book Country, too. On Book Country, the members we see who get the most out of the site are the ones that consistently weigh in on discussions, give great reviews, and thank and connect to their own reviewers.

I agree! Blogging needs to be consistent if you want to not only stay connected with readers, but to also be able to maintain a presence on the web. Google and other search engines tend to rank blogs with fresh content higher than ones that don't.
Social media is tricky, though. You want to be consistent by logging in, but I personally think you should log in on different days and times so you have a broader reach. Your readers may not be in your time zone or your country-- hence they may not be on during your day hours.
