Hello,
My name is Lisa and I am 31 years old. I love the YA genre only because it's nostalgic for me. I remember always curling up with a good R.L stein book when I was younger. I seemed to have never truly outgrown that phase. You will find me lurking reading stories written in the Fantasy or Mystery YA section.
I have recently been adding chapters to my own YA novel I'm currently working on. Having been a poet for so long, it's hard to really write a story, I have had practice with writing and still laugh at my first attempts. I notice in this story I'm currently working on titled "A Different Shade of Black." A Urban/Fantasy YA I tend to use a lot of poetic free verses.
I am interested in getting to know everybody here!!

Thanks for introducing yourself--I love that! So glad you are here.
Re: R.L. Stine--sing it, sister! I remember having those books close at hand at all times.
Really looking forward to checking out your work. It sounds awesome!

Hey Lucy,
Thank you for the warm welcome!
R.L Stein is awesome my favorite book of his is "Blind Date."
Thank you for looking at my work when you get the chance. It's a different type of story, it's not your usual Urban/Fantasy genre about vampires and witches. It's a love story which entails the Grim Reaper.
