Every time I log into this site I hear Johnny Depp's voice warning me that we can't stop here. Why? Because this is bat country.
It makes me want to rig it up so that every time I log in the sound effect plays.
Funny side note: I've never seen Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas, which is where the line comes from.

No no. we HAVE to stop here. This is book country.
I've also never seen the movie, or heard the soundbite, but theres a graphic that was going around a long time ago with a still from that scene with a bat photoshopped into it, and that pops into my head, but an anthropomorphic book ala School House Rock in the passenger seat instead.

Bat country, indeed.
Read the book if you want an interesting literary experience. The film does a great job, but to read through everything is just mesmerizing. Hunter S. Thompson was insane, but brilliant.
