Because I must make notes as I read in order to conduct a proper review, I need to copy to word so I can annotate, condense and return feedback. When I went to copy a chapter, I couldn't. I find it nearly impossible to read the chapter directly from a computer screen.

The copy function is disabled in the reader to protect the work of the writers. If you look at the reader you can change the text size and font type to make it easier to read.

There is no way to cut and paste or print the reader-submitted material from the site, nor is there currently a way to download. This was done as a precaution and a way to protect the writer's work from possible plagiarism.

That's the kiss of death to me. My reviews are usually line edits and general crits. It's no help to tell some what's wrong unless you can take to time to tell them how to fix it.

I would like to read these texts in my preferred format as well, this book interface you have here does not conduce a favorable reading experience.
