What a great idea for a post, Mari!

I'm 47, born and raised Texan. Married (3rd marriage) this time it's a very happy one!

I'm a nurse with experience mostly in hospital, med/surg floors and lots of pediatrics.

Was once an EMT.

I owned and operated a candle-making company with a retail showroom and factory, soap, candles, etc.

Have 2 grandchildren, girls, 7 & 9.

Army Mom (mother-in-law actually)

Daughter of a retired police sgt. Sister of a police sgt now. Multiple relatives in law enforcement.

Born-again Christian completely in love with Jesus Christ and share His love for others, be they straight or gay, black or white, etc. He taught us to Live to Love others and didn't tell us to only love those we think are good enough or like ourselves. : )

Love dogs (have 2) and parakeets (have 1)

Suffering from a myriad of major health problems, incurable life-threatening blood disorder, RA, and the list goes on. And on.

Currently on disability and spending more time writing. Recently published first book. Yay!
