Well,
I'm sort of embarrased, in that here I am again, not all that long since my
last release. But this isn't something I dashed out and tossed online. It's a
project I've been working on for a while, and finally finished editing.
This one was fun to write, and took me back to the wasteland of Arizona, where
I spent time as a boy, on the outskirts of Tuscon. It also resolved a promise I
made to myself, to explore a situation I heard of via some rather odd but
intriguing song lyrics.
It's a modern cowboy story, featuring a rancher, who accepted the job of town
cop because no one else wanted it. And of the four females in the story, I fell
in love with two of them. The third made me shake my head. But fourth scared
the living hell out of me.
