Hi everyone, I just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. I am a novice writer who has done National Novel Writing Month twice, and want to develop my writing further. I haven't had much success slogging away on my own, so here I am.

Hey, welcome to the madness. You'll find that a lot of us took a crack at Nano last year (there's a thread for you to figure out which of us did the worst), so there's plenty of horror stories for you to find.

Hello there. I am new here myself. I did Nano a few times in years past, then went more into short stories and serial work. Now I am back to, as you correctly say, the slog of writing a novel. Best wishes to you on your efforts!
