Hi, I don't have any idea whether someone else suggested this or not, so I thought I'd go ahead and do it myself.

This is probably impossible, but maybe you could add an icon or something to a person's Profile Page to let us know whether or not they're actively on the site. That way we can communicate with them when we know they're here.
