OMFG IT'S HAPPENING!

Hi Book Country I'm super excited right now. After having a shitty day taking a big exam I come home to find out that an image of the upcoming animated movie Batman The Killing Joke was released online. And to make things better, Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are confirmed to reprise their roles as Batman and Joker! Yeah I bet you didn't know that Luke Skywalker was the Clown Prince of Crime.

Both Conroy and Hamill previously provided their voices to the characters in the 1990s Batman the Animated Series and to this day whenever I open a comic book their voices are what I hear every time a read the dialogue bubbles. Not Keaton & Nicholson, not Bale & Ledger, Conroy & Hamill, to me, are the definitive Batman & Joker.

I'm also happy because Batman The Killing Joke is the greatest Batman story ever written. This graphic novel by Alan Moore (Watchmen) provides a backstory to the Joker and shows the most shocking moment in comics where Joker cripples Batgirl.

When you have the chance check out the graphic novel it is well worth the read.
