It is unfortunate that I have to announce another passing of a talented and respected actor in Hollywood. Bob Hoskins, who you might recognize as the tough as nails detective Eddie Valiant in the classical hit Who Framed Roger Rabbit, has died from pneumonia at age 71. He retired from acting back in 2012 due to being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. He truly was a talented actor, starring in such films such as Hook, The Super Mario Brothers, and even nominated for an Oscar for his role in the film Mona Lisa.

I was surprised when I heard the news. I also remember him in the film 'Cotton Club' alongside
another deceased actor, Fred Gwynne. I recall the two of them had some great chemistry together in their roles
in that film.
