Summer is here!

Anyone have a goal that is specific to this summer? Word count? Revision? Get a cover designed? Publish? Build your network?

Chime in below!

I'm *hoping* to get the first book of my Dark Destinies Trilogy, Destiny's Bond, written. Then I'll start on serious revisions. And editing. And tweaking. And omitting. And adding. And headaches.

You know, the usual for me

My goal is to add at least 20-30 thousand more words to Forever Bound and then I hope to edit and check for inconsistencies. I'm very OCD when it comes to inconsistencies in my writing LOL!

@Amanda-- LOL. How do you check for them? Do you have a good system you've developed?

I've used a few that work pretty well.

One is a spread sheet for the characters, places, and historical data. I compile this from a journal I keep on the characters while writing.

The other is using sticky notes.

I must admit that I don't like having the sticky notes all over my desk. I like a clean and clear work space so my editing process goes a little quicker when I'm at that point because I LOVE to be able to throw away the stickies!
