I have some very interesting connections, and I'd like to suggest to them that we exchange reviews. How do I do this? I can't find a way to send them messages.

Select 'My Connections' from the menu or scroll down and click on the pic of your connections. At the top right of their profile page is a button to send them a private message. Is this what you mean?
