Hi everyone!
After I tweeted out the author interview
with Julie Klam that's up on our blog today, I got to tweeting with
another writer named Miranda Beverly-Whittemore. Miranda is a novelist
and the founder of a really cool website she showed me called FriendStories.com. The website is full of short essays about girlhood friendships. She invited me to submit an essay myself, and also to invite others to do so. I thought I'd share this opportunity with everyone else in the community, too. I'm definitely going to submit one soon!

PS: Even if you don't submit an essay, the site also has some really neat writing prompts to inspire you on the topic. I'll be using these this weekend!
