    Can I recommend other members to each other?

    Absolutely. We believe that the best writing and publishing occurs within a community and we encourage like-minded writers to connect. If you think two of your connections would like to connect with each other, simply navigate to the profile of the member you would like to recommend. Click the Recommend to Connections button, and select the members to whom you’d like to send the recommendation.

    I received a recommendation from one of my connections, now what?

    Click on Connections in your notification center, and click either Request to Connect or Ignore on the pending recommendation.

    Can I ignore a recommendation?

    Yes. Click Ignore on the pending recommendation request. The other member will not be notified that you have ignored the recommendation, but may also resend the same recommendation in the future unless you wish to block the member.

    Does the other member know if I ignored their recommendation?

    No. The other member will not be notified if you ignore the recommendation. However, users will be able to send the same recommendation request to you in the future unless you wish to block them.

    How many times can someone send the same recommendation to me?

    While you have a recommendation request pending, no one will be able to make the same recommendation to you. If you choose to ignore a request, users will then be able to make the same recommendation to you in the future. If you don’t want to receive recommendations to connect with a specific user, you can block the user whom you do not wish to connect. For more information on blocking a user, read this FAQ.

    How can I access my list of recommendations from others?

    Click on My Connections, and navigate to the Recommendations tab. This will allow you to see and take action on any pending recommendation requests.
