Can I invite other non members to the site?
Yes, of course. Book Country is an inclusive writing and publishing community, and we want you to bring the people who will help you create your best book. Navigate to the Invite Friends page. From here, you can enter the email addresses of up to five people you’d like to invite to the Book Country community.

How many people can I invite at one time?
We know how embarrassing it is to accidentally send an email invite to everyone in your contact list. You can send invitations to up to five email addresses at a time. (You’re welcome to invite more than five people, but you’ll need to send the invites in separate batches.)

Can I personalize the message to those I invite?
Absolutely. Simply click in the text field to change the default message.
Please note: if you’re sending invitations to multiple email addresses at once, they will all receive the same message. To personalize each invitation individually, you will need to send only one invitation at a time.

I invited someone but it says they are already a member. What do I do?
The person you wanted to invite is already a member of the Book Country community! Simply send them a connection request instead of an invitation.

Can I import or use my address book from an outside program to invite others?
Not yet. You will need to type the email addresses of the people you would like to invite. It’s a feature on our short list of improvements so check back soon.

What happens after I send an invitation?
Once you send an invitation the invitee will receive an email. Should that person choose to accept your invitation, the writer will be directed to the Book Country website where they can register for an account, watch an introductory video and be prompted to send you a connection request.
