How do I create a new topic?
First make sure there isn’t a similar topic to the one you want to create. Go to Discussions and find an appropriate subject and forum to post your topic. Then click New Topic.

Can I delete or edit my topic?
No. Once you have created and posted a topic you will not be able to delete it. If for some reason you have made a mistake and need to delete a topic, please contact an admin by visiting our Contact Us page and sending an email.

How do I respond to topics and posts?
Click the Add Reply button located under the last topic posted.

Why can’t I reply to some topics?
Some topics are classified as locked topics or as announcements. These types of topics can still be read, but you cannot reply to them.Locked topics could be locked for various reasons – such as if it’s an old topic or the conversation staled – and are controlled by the site admins. Announcements are created and posted by our admins as a way of easily informing writers who follow the forum about a relevant event.

How do I request a new forum or subject be created?
Administrators of the page can create a new forum or subject. If you have a suggestion, please visit ourContact Uspage and send us an email.

Can I quote another member’s response in my post?
Yes. Click Quote to automatically add the text from the original post to your response.

Can I edit my post after I post it?
Yes. Click Edit Post next to the text you would like to edit. Make sure to click Submit once you’re done so your changes will save. The post will note that you edited it after the original, but it will not highlight what changed.Note: If someone quoted your post before you edited it, their quoted post will not be updated.

How do I flag a post as inappropriate?
You can flag a post you think is inappropriate by clicking Report Post. The administrators will receive an email about the post and will decide whether or not to remove the content.

Can I sort the forums to my preferences?
Yes. You can sort the forums by topics, topic starter, replies, views and last post. Simply navigate to the discussion forum you wish to view and click on the column header you’d like to sort by.Note: Sticky topics and announcements (identified by our forum admins) will always remain on top.

How can I stay updated or subscribe to a board, forum, or topic?
You can subscribe to a topic or board via email and it will also display on your news feed homepage. At the top of each discussion forum there is an email icon, shown in the image below. From there you can choose to subscribe to All Posts or Replies to Me. By subscribing to all posts, you will be notified anytime someone posts a reply or new topic in the board, forum or topic to which you are subscribed. By subscribing to "replies to me," you will only be notified when someone replies to your specific comment or quotes your comment. Make sure you click Add Subscription to save your preferences. Note: Make sure you are logged in to subscribe to a forum or topic.

How do I unsubscribe from a board forum or topic?
Go to the same place as you subscribed. Navigate to the forum you are subscribed to and click on the email icon. If you are subscribed to the discussion, an Unsubscribe box will appear. Make sure you check the box and click Update Subscription to save your preferences. Note: You must be logged in to unsubscribe to a forum or topic.
