Short Bio:
When I was in college, I changed my major 4 times. At one point, my record showed the following majors: Aerospace Engineering, Math, Education and English.
If you're trying to see how a self professed science geek ended up as an English major, don't worry. You're not alone. After 2 years of bouncing around trying to find what I liked, I ended meeting with the Dean for the College of Arts and Sciences. He noticed that I was an English minor and that I did quite well in my English classes, but just mediocre in my science classes. When he asked me why I think I did better in English than Science, I said, "Because I like to write."
And that is how I became an English major.
Funny thing is? I may like to write, but I'm horrible at grammar. Go figure.
My mother, of course, says I write pretty well.
I tell her that she has to say that because she's my mother.
