Short Bio:
I grew up on Minnesota’s North Shore of Lake Superior, fishing for brook trout in the streams and tramping through the woods and pastures. I grew up with storytellers, learning to tell a story from family, neighbors, farmers, fishermen, loggers, day laborers and politicians.
I now live in another watershed in Northwestern Wisconsin with my wife, one dog, two cats, two horses and a flock of laying hens. Early articles and stories have appeared in local and regional newsletters, journals, and magazines, and I'm a contributor of creative non fiction to a local newspaper. One short story collection was published in 2012, and a second collection will be released in 2013-14. The first novel is having growing pains.
