Short Bio:
An Alaskan resident, Douglas C. (Doug) Myers, was raised in Oregon, where trout fishing was an indulgence revisited each spring. During academic pursuits in Southern California he remained committed to his fishing avocation while fishing trout streams throughout the Eastern High Sierras. His return to the Northwest provided fishing for migrating salmon and steelhead.
Myers served professionally many years in agency and private practice settings. His tenure in the state of Washington included Director of Family Court, Snohomish County Court of Domestic Relations. As a licensed practitioner he served as a consultant and counseling therapist encouraging reconciliation, personal growth, and relationship sensitivity.
As an adventurer, fisherman, photographer, and Alaska wilderness lodge owner Myers has been privileged to realize the pleasure from personal fulfillment couched in inspiration. These experiences have been preserved in his writings as author and paintings as artist.
