I have loved fantasy since reading The Hobbit in my youth, and most of what I read is from that genre. I have never been published and most of what I write are stories I have told and am trying to put to print for the first time. I have many loved friends and family that, if you knew me, their roles would be apparent in what you read. I like to consider myself a history buff, yet I am constantly reminded I am not even close to such a title. I do take moments of history and try to blend them losely so that my stories read as an alternative way for things to have been, with different outcomes. I believe that much has been lost to us with so many texts burned or just plain gone, that there are so many opportunities to create a story that I need not look too far for inspiration. Reading ancient sagas and myths has helped me to envision a world that I constantly travel to in my mind, and the story I am working on now is born from these daydreams.
