T.E Hauxwell grew up in Warwickshire, a county rich in history, folklore and gruesome tales. Coupled with a family of rather eccentric amateur historians this led to a childhood filled with assorted stories of long dead knights, unsolved local mysteries and the great Edwardian estates of rural England. It's not surprising then that her favourite reads are in the historical fiction and non-fiction genres.
Continuing the family tradition Hauxwell graduated with Masters in Archaeology. Her passion is the late Victorian and early Edwardian period, including the First World War.
She also has an interest in comparative mythology, the history of storytelling and the evolution of legends and folklore.
Hauxwell currently lives in West London with her cat and an extensive, some might say obsessive collection of knitting yarn.
