I fell in love with Asimov when I was 11 and he opened my world. In my teens my favourite author was E.E.Doc Smith. Over the years my reading expanded to include the world of fantasy and paranormal. I read a book a day; cats, son and weather permitting.
When my son was 4 years old, I was reading Anne McCaffery while he played. It came to me that my time could be better spent writing instead of reading.
That was ten years ago. Since then I've written three full-length novels, an adult Military Sci-Fi, an urban Fantasy and a traditional fantasy. I have ten other manuscripts at various stages of development including two follow-up novels.
I had a short story, ‘Underworld’ published by Firedance publishing in their anthology, ‘Broken Worlds’ in July 2012 (Available on Amazon). I have started proof-reading for the British Fantasy Society Journal and critque local writers but ache to have one of my full-length novels published.
