I read a broad spectrum of novels, recently finishing “The Hunger Games" trilogy just to see what's happening in YA. My tastes lean toward thrillers, especially with a psychological bent. Perhaps that's why I tend to write on the mental edge.
My first published novel, "Born to Make the Kill, " pits youthful innocence against gnarled psychosis in a 2, 000-mile race across four western states. My newest work, "Dead of Nyte, " rides along with a Seattle police officer while she pieces together the clues left by a Vietnam POW who, after 40 years, chooses murder to act out his manifesto.
