I have been writing fiction ever since I could pick up a crayon. Convinced I would one day be a famous author, my first grade teacher kept a copy of Ronald and Donald, one of my early efforts, an existential tale of two talking dogs.
I enjoy reading and writing stories that are character-driven, with a little (or even a lot of) romance for good measure. Growing up, I read voraciously, devouring the entire novel Gone With the Wind at the age of thirteen, and the entire Anne of Green Gables series around that same time. From there, I branched out to the classics.
I put my writing on hold for a number of years to pursue other career options, until my third pregnancy and the mid-life crisis it triggered empowered me to return to my roots as a writer.
