Since William Hrdina started writing in college in 1998, he has completed 16 novels and over 100 short stories and the list is growing all of the time. A midwestern kid from Chicago, William got a philosophy and religion degree from Indiana University after 8 years of college. He only left because they weren't going to give him any more tuition money. His highly practical pair of degrees in hand, William went into work in an ICU at the University of Chicago (where else?) and ended up as the technical specialist working with medical simulation robots. It was fun, but in October 2012, William quit to work on a writing career that is currently ongoing. His wife, needless to say, is a saint.
