I read about a book a day, almost all mysteries and heavy on the cozies, fast reader who doesn't watch TV. Other than mysteries, I am a big fan of Terry Pratchett. I try to write every day, even if it is not always on my current manuscript. I started writing when I was about five. My parents came to US from Ireland, separating me from my cousins, who were like siblings, so my writing started with long letters telling about every thing I was doing. Bored after getting laid off, I was reading a lot of cozies between applying for jobs, and coming up with ideas that would make good mysteries and finally one day I said, I can do this and wrote my first book. Despite being accepted by a publisher, I decided to do it myself for the first book at least. We shall see how that goes.
