My theory is that writer's are readers so enchanted by books they've read -- their enthusiasm merely spills over into writing. I've been a reader/writer since age 12. Over the last few decades, I've noticed that I'm happiest when I'm reading a good book and working on a writing project. No books, no pen in hand: my mood goes south pretty fast! I would like to spend more time in the day doing both, and get frustrated that I don't allocate more time for both. New year's resolutions are right around the corner, yes? Can you guess what mine will be? I tend to read my fiction than anything else, but my true love has always been poetry. There's nothing like a good poem to rock my world!
