I have been writing for what seems longer than I can remember. Aside form a number of academic projects (thesis, seminar presentations, etc.) I have also written and presented for Educational conferences and professional programs, as well as having published gaming supplements for the Dungeons and Dragons game by third party publishers and been a lead writer for materials produced by the Princeton Review. In recent years I have been working to transition from academic and non-fiction writing into fiction, in particular genre fiction. I have done some writing for fan fiction sites, working to hone my plotting and dialogue in an environment that provided plentiful feedback.
I am a voracious reader, particularly of fantasy, pulp, and adventure fiction, comics and graphic novels, historical material (particularly ancient and medieval history and archaeology & anthropology), and speculative history.
