I read everything, including the backs of cereal boxes.)I have been writing since middle school, with a lot of encouragement, but am now ready to test the agent-hunting waters. I write thrillers, and have finished two, but I am also working on a series about the opera world, drawing on my own experiences. I love the Scandinavian thrillers and books by Gayle Lynds and David Morrell. among others. I am an amateur historian, especially WWII-Europe. My thrillers are both rooted in that period. My second language is German, with a working knowledge of French and Italian, and some Swedish. My father was born in Gothenberg, and I have a family of cousins over there. When not slaving over a hot keyboard, I love to knit, do needlepoint. I am a published music critic and feature writer for two newspapers in Connecticut. Writing was my way of "relaxing" while immersed in a singing career and family.I say I'm a "former" opera singer, because sopranos must know when to take that last bow!
