I read a little of everything. My current passion is early Maine history, up to the 1800's. I have started a non-fiction on the cause and prevention of war and an alternate history of World War Two, poorly written. My first complete book was "The Reluctant Overlord". What does an idealistic young genius who is distrustful of authority do when his investors try to murder him? When he discovers his theories lead to super weapons not just devices no bigger than briefcases that can power trains with no fuel or pollution? My current project is “Medallion of the Khan”. What happens when a young woman from Kentucky is thrown in with sophisticated millionaire, traveling the world in search of an ancient treasure pursued by Mongolian revolutionaries and Chinese spies? To me, the plot is the key, and how the characters grow and change in reaction to it is what both drives and defines the story. Chuck S.
