Becoming a writer was a dream that Delroy never gave much attention. Over the years many ideas for novels and screenplays crept into his mind only to be thrown off to the side. Everything Delroy had had to be taken away from him before he could truly realize how passionate he is about writing. During his incarceration Delroy read Wally Lamb’s “This much I know is true” and immediately it rekindled a fire; Delroy was inspired to start writing. Delroy thought Wally’s style of writing made the story extremely easy to follow and the struggles the main character faced were somewhat similar to his own. Since then a pad and pen has never left his side. Today Delroy writes novels that are carefully crafted and often inspired by real life events. Delroy is a stickler for stories that are simple in form yet riveting. Coupled with been an introvert he possess a great imagination. With this formula he tries to weave together stories that make it difficult for you to put down the book.
