I have been a fan of science fiction every since I was 13 when I read my first anthology of short stories. I was hooked and never went back. I read anything I could get my hands. Everything by Asimov, Heinlein, Bradbury. Everything that every got a Hugo or Nebula award. When time became an issue with job and babies I read only the great woman authors of Scifi/Fantasy starting with Le Guin, and Tepper and Cherryh. Later I became a fan of the greats of comics and graphic novels. In the midst of a crumbling marriage I began to write the stories that had been tumbling about in my head for ages. It was a learning process. I have boxes and discs full of my early attempts. Laid off in the great economic debacle of 2008, I began to write in earnest. Black Bead was my first novel. Bhotta's Tears followed. Ice Demons, the third book of the trilogy, is near to completion.
