I read fiction and nonfiction. The fiction I read tends to be character-driven; the nonfiction I read can't be categorized. I enjoy the current crop of books on politics and international affairs. I also like to keep up on the work I did in experimental psychology in graduate school many years ago. I founded and ran the literary agency, James Peter Associates in 1970 and ran it successfully for 30 years. At the time I sold the agency I represented 82 nonfiction book authors. During those 30 years I was the ghostwriter or collaborator on more than 20 books, all published with major international publishers. Now it's time to see if I can write fiction, too!
