My first novel "Fast Sofa" was published in '93 by William-Morrow. I co-wrote the screenplay for the film of the same name produced by Sneak Preview and sold to Lions Gate Films, starring Jennifer Tilley, Crispin Glover and Jake Busey. The novel "Sweet Ride" started as a movie script that came close to production, but the financing continued to be an obstacle, so I decided to turn the script into a novel. Two days prior to the attacks on 9/11, I sat in the courtyard of the Union Theological Seminary in NY and began to adapt the script to prose. I worked on "Sweet Ride" over the following ten years. "Sweet Ride" is influenced by the people, adventures and romance I found in Manhattan, including the two years tending bar in the East Village at The Cherry Tavern. My most recent ms."Grievous Angel" is set in the Coachella Valley & involves an angel that looks like Sonny Bono. The story is a dark, sexy, bloody retelling of "It's a Wonderful Life."
