I love to read and write fiction. I'm finding that I'm actually a true fan of quality science fiction. I didn't realize it until recently. At the same time I'm a sucker for a well-written non-genre piece or a mix genre work, such as The Road of basically anything by Vonnegut. I tend to write in quite the dramatic setting, usually something to move the characters in the most surprising places possible. You can check out my first novel The Flesh Statue or my newer work In Blackness, which will turn into a trilogy pretty soon.
I love doing research for stories. I once researched a disease for about a year for a story and didn't use any of the information. I will say this: Apparently there is a legitimate chance for Mad Cow Disease to break out in the U.S. in epidemic form. Should be fun.
