I love to read funny writers. Not joke-writers. Writers who mine their own lives for material that everybody can identify with. To me, the most difficult task in the world is to get a laugh off of a page. It's simpler for comedians and filmmakers who can provide visual aids to reinforce their jokes but writers must work harder for the same results. I also enjoy biographies, space science, and technical journals even if I can't understand a single word of what I'm reading. I don't really have any hobbies...none that I can share openly with readers, that is...but I do have a great "fun fact" to offer: I died eight years ago. For seventeen minutes. I had the the famous NDE (Near Death Experience). It was traumatic, enlightening, life-changing and all too painful to talk about...for free, that is. I'll gladly sell you a story about it.
