My first book of nonfiction (chemical contamination in a small town) had little commercial appeal. Hopefully, my first suspense-thriller (being proofread) will be more successful. I enjoy reading mysteries and suspense-thrillers without scientific errors, futuristic weapons, protagonists who are ex-Seals, Special Forces, etc. who miraculously escape death in every third chapter. Did I mention super-antagonists who have plans to take over the world have been overdone, as are story lines that will shake the very foundations of the United States or the Catholic Church? Is there no more originality left in the writing world?
