Surviving and recovering from a ruptured brain aneurysm prompted Janet to write "Normal Is So Overrated, " a narrative non-fiction that recounts her experience and offers support and encouragement to others. It is scheduled for publication soon.
She is currently crafting a paranormal mystery wherein the living and the dead find themselves united in purpose and a small town's well-kept secret is revealed.
Janet has written feature stories for Woods & Irons Magazine, newsletters, and more press releases than she cares to count. Her short story, "Collette's Conundrum" placed second in the best paranormal short story competition at the 2011 Missouri Writers Guild Conference.
She loves a good mystery and enjoys both reading fiction and non-fiction, especially works dealing with near-death experiences and paranormal phenomenon.
