Sher loves a well-told story with a strong heartline to pull the reader through. She is re-immersed in Karen Miller’s Mage series, reading as a writer this time. Lord of The Rings, Alison Croggon’s Pellinor Series and Karen Miller’s Godspeaker series are on her bedside table. In the wings she has The Golden Key (Raw, Roberson and Elliott). She spent summers in her hometown on the pacific coast, but you would not see her at the beach. More often you would find her blue Schwinn parked outside the public library while she squirreled away with a book somewhere deep in the stacks. In the days when drug lords stayed in their holes and the southern border was safe to cross, Sher and her husband lived for several years in Mexico City. The mystery, spirituality and hardships she encountered there propelled her to her writing desk where she is still found most evenings between the hours of eight and midnight.
