I enjoy any good historical fiction. For that Clive Cussler comes to mind. For supernatural thrillers Dean Koontz tops my list. I've read some Stephen King. His book, On Writing is an invaluable read for developing writers.
In addition, I enjoy reading Vince Flynn, Brad Thor and Tom Clancy for political/military thrillers.

I have a short story in the works set in 1961-63. Movie theater usher confronts a rebellious vixen. Later thuggish boyfriend pulls a switchblade with his threat.
I will post when samples are ready. I'm thick skinned and welcome constructive criticism. Looking forward to reading peer submissions.
