This book is based on a bare-knuckle true story. All its characters are real life personalities. Most of them are still alive and well. It is the life story of Azm Fazlul Hoque who graduated from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and stood 4th among 14 who secured First Division in a graduating class of nearly 150 students. He came to Canada with a British Commonwealth Scholarship to complete his post-graduate studies at the University of Alberta and at McMaster University. He briefly worked with the Bangladesh Water Development Board and for nearly 10 years with the Federal Government of Canada. Following that, he joined the UN and worked in Asia and Africa for nearly 20 years culminating as a Senior Economic Affairs Offi cer. During his long career with the UN, Mr. Hoque and his family traveled extensively through 6 continents of the world. He is currently retired and spends time in Canada and Bangladesh. Mr. Hoque still travels often across the world.
