I don't have as diverse a catalog of literature under my belt, but I've read various pieces of Science Fiction, War Fiction, and Fantasy Fiction. Recently my interests have been in the realm of alternate historical fiction. Primarily I focus in the realm of Fantasy and Mythology, and while I've drafted several works with the intention of creating novels, I always seem to get sidetracked. My writing is guided by character but lacks a strong narrative voice. Often I dance around dialogue as it is my weakest point. Descriptive language is my strongest subject. Currently I'm motivated by short stories and story collections rather than novelizations. Receiving feedback has always been difficult for me as I do not have a community of my own to turn to. I've discovered that there's a limit to relying on friends to read what I write. I'm very excited to see what Book Country has to offer for a novice like myself!
