Current WIP manuscript is a time-travle fantasy that's a mix of The Iliad, LOST and Bourne Identity. It's part of an overall series I've been working on for past ten years.
Love anything involving time-travel (though not a fan of Romance or YA). Really enjoying Kage Baker's Company series now.
Fascinated by ancient mythology (not just standard Greek and Arthurian legends). I'm probably the one person (out of 5000) disappointed by Neil Gaiman's Amercian Gods.
Like alternate histories like Dick's Man In the High Castle and Tim Powers' "secret histories." Also love Baxter's Time's Tapestry series.
Like Powers and Dan Simmons, I blend actual historical figures with the fantastic--only adding paranormal elements (UFOs, MIBs, Atlantis and unexplained/supernatural events). Plus a dose of off-the-wall conspiracy theory.
Current WIP includes King Arthur, Crazy Horse, Gilgamesh, a true-to-life female Samurai, and a female Achilles. And a war between time-travelers and aliens.
