Reading anything printed that falls into my hands is my favorite task besides writing fiction. I love to create characters that are unique in themselves. To me the most important endeavor in my writings is to reflect society and its members, past and present. Although I possess a great imagination, it is my goal not to write science fiction that does not reflect reality. I always strive to follow Oscar Wilde's dictum that a writer should not eschew the depiction of those acts condemned by the purveyors of morality, but as a painter, should take all the colors from his polichrome palette that would reflect reality, be they white or black. Thus, I do not eschew writing about actions committed by the humble and the powerful if they would help me in my writing.
